Why give?
Across Chicagoland, too many lives are touched by violence, loss, and instability. In 2023, domestic violence deaths in Illinois more than doubled, claiming 120 lives. Homelessness in Chicago rose 25% in a single year, with Black residents making up 72% of the unhoused population despite representing less than 30% of the city’s residents. At the same time, many missing Black women and girls continue to be undercounted or overlooked, leaving families without answers and communities without closure.
There are not just statistics—they represent mothers, fathers, children, neighbors and members of our communities who deserve safety and protection.

Every dollar funds outreach, resources, and partnerships that support survivors, the unhoused, and the unseen. All donations go directly toward supporting OTG CC’s community initiatives—from funding care packages to providing aid for families in need to supporting local organizations dedicated to restoring lives.

Yes! Off the GRID Car Club is a registered 501(c) nonprofit organization. You’ll receive a receipt by email after your donation that you can use for tax purposes.

Absolutely. When donating, you can select a specific initiative or program, and we’ll make sure your funds go there.

We accept major credit/debit cards, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Zelle, Klarna, Link By Stripe and checks. For larger or recurring donations, we can also arrange ACH transfers.

Yes! Recurring donations help us plan long-term community projects. You can choose to give monthly, quarterly, or annually.

You’ll get an email confirmation immediately after donating. If you don’t see it, check your spam folder or contact us at [insert email].

Yes—many donors choose to contribute in someone’s name. We’ll send a personalized acknowledgment to you or the honoree if requested.

Definitely. We accept material donations like clothing and non-perishable foods, or volunteer time for our events. Send us a message with what you’d like to donate and we’ll coordinate.

You can modify or cancel your recurring donation anytime through your donation receipt link or by contacting us directly.

Yes. We welcome corporate sponsorships, matching gifts, and partnership donations. We’ll also feature your business on our website and socials, and on event materials, if applicable. Please contact us to discuss further or submit a Sponsorship Form.
